Tirumala, October  16 : On the seventh day of Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams  the Lord Malayappas ride atop the Surya Prabha Vahanam was an enthralling experience to all the devotees. 

The Lords ride along the mada streets  on a  vehicle adorned by Surya, the sun god,,the key architect of life of humans animals and plants has a significant message to his devotees that he was the  creator of everything on this universe .

IMPORTANCE

According to  Puranic texts Surya, the Sun God always rode on  a chariot driven by seven horses.. He spreads light and health in the world and also removes darkness, which symbolizes poverty, illiteracy and ignorance..Saint-poet Tallapaka Annamacharyat praises Venkatewswara as no other than the Sun God in the midst of the Sun’s Sphere.

Lord Venkateswara blesses the devotees by showering on them health and wealth and allowing them to witness him on the Tirumala Surya Prabha Vahanam announcing that he it is the one who as the sun God, lights the world

. As the chief deity among Navagrahas, Lord Surya  rode a chariot driven by seven horses, representing the colors of the rainbow and the seven chakras in the human body Surya known for his vision of Virata Purusha, he is worshipped as Suryanarayana Murthy .

   In The Tirupathi Brahmotsavam 2018  The Hindu Dharmathi Samiti brought the umbrellas from Chennai to the Tirumala on Sunday to decorate the  on the occasion of Lord venkateshwara annual Brahmotsavas. The TTD officials welcomed the umbrellas who reached Tirumala under the supervision of Trustee Sri RR Gopalji. Deputy Chief Minister of the state from the hands of the K.E.Krishna Murthy front of the temple to the umbrellas provided by TTD. Four Maada streets were taken to the temple after the procession. These umbrellas are decorated in garuda seva.

        During the past 14 years Brahmotsavam the Sri K.E.Krishna Murthy umbrellas donated by the Indian Nations in return for the charity said.

    On September 15th, two umbrellas were presented to Sri padmavathi Temple in Thiruchanoor. The remaining nine umbrellas were handed over to Tirumala Srivari

Tirumala The Ritwiks carried out the most important religious ritual "Kalakarshana" in Tirumala temple on Sunday evening as a part of the ongoing five day Astabandhana Balalaya Maha Samprokshanam fete.

Kalakarshana is a traditional process of re-invoking the various forms of the Almighty from an idol to another media like wooden icon or a Kalasha.

This celestial fete took place in Srivari temple between 7pm and 9pm. "The transferring of Divine Power of Bimbam (deity) to Kumbhabhishekam(Kalasa) was carried out amidst chanting of relevant mantras by the vedic scholars. Apart from the Mula Virat or presiding deity, the power of other deities like the Utsavarulu was also transferred in to Kalasam.

The Mula Virat consists of 12 Jeeva Sthanams which includes head, eyes, forehead, nose, throat, shoulders, bosom, midrib, feet etc. each one being a power house four kinds of Arts and taking the total to 48. All these Arts were also invoked into Kalasams placed at Yagashala.

The divine power of Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murthy, Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi, Bhudevi, Sri Ugra Sreenivasa Murthy, Sr Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Sri Krishna, Swamy, Rukmini, Sudarshana Chakkrattalwar, Jaya-Vijaya, Dhwaja Sthambha, Padi Potu Tayaru, Prasada Potu Tayaru, Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy, Sri Bhashyakarulavaru, Sri Vishwaksena, Sri Garudalwar, Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy were also invoked into Kalasams.
